Short version: this is a static information site. We don't run accounts, we don't sell data, and we collect as little as possible. Trade Cert Hub is an independent publisher, not a government agency or licensing board.

What we collect

  • Privacy-friendly analytics. If enabled, we use a cookieless analytics tool (such as Plausible) that records aggregate page views and referrers. It does not set cookies or build a profile of you, and it does not track you across other sites.
  • Server logs. Our host may keep standard access logs (IP address, browser type, page requested) for security and reliability. These are not used to identify you.
  • Newsletter. If you choose to give us your email for renewal reminders, we store only your email address and use it only to send those reminders. You can unsubscribe at any time.

What we don't collect

  • We don't ask you to create an account.
  • We don't sell, rent, or share your personal information.
  • We don't set advertising or tracking cookies of our own.

Affiliate links and third parties

Some outbound links (for continuing-education courses, bonds, and insurance) are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination site — not us — may use cookies or tracking to attribute the referral and any purchase. How long we keep data

We keep newsletter email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Cookieless analytics are aggregate and not tied to you. Server logs are retained only as long as our host's standard retention period for security purposes.

Your choices

You can browse the entire site without giving us any personal information. If you joined the newsletter, every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to be removed. To request deletion of any information we hold about you, contact us below.

Your privacy rights (US & EU)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port the personal data we hold, and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing." We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but we honor all access and deletion requests. California residents (CCPA/CPRA) and EU/UK residents (GDPR) can exercise these rights by emailing us at the address below; the data controller is Trade Cert Hub. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.

Children

This site is intended for working adults in the trades and is not directed at children under 13.
